Trus-Way Roof Trusses - Truss Design and Engineering

2. Our Process: Design and Engineering

Trus-Way, Inc. takes field measurements on most jobs before design work ever begins. Not every manufacturer can make that claim. This extra step helps ensure an accurate fit when finished trusses are delivered and placed on the house framing.

After measurements are taken, our team of in-house designers goes to work. In designing each truss, variables like span, shape, pitch and load are taken into consideration. In some cases, our design team may even revise an architect’s drawing in order to correct a mistake, make a design work as intended, or save the customer money.

Prior to production, each truss design is reviewed by professional engineers at Mitek. Our turn-around time for engineered drawings is extremely fast, which means you can obtain the necessary permits in a timely manner, and keep construction on schedule.
